Beautiful little angel...

This little guy was just a beauty. There was so much love for that little one in this household.. it was amazing.

There is something about these two images below that I find so incredibly powerful. As parents, but as moms especially we are constantly going back and forth with our roles as a mom and all the other hats we wear. It is a constant challenge to learn the importance of truly taking care of ourselves so that we can ultimately be good mothers, spouses, friends, etc. It requires us to step forward and say, "I need a break to rejuvenate." This doesn't happen as much as it should and typically it is no ones fault but our own. We just aren't that great at it. So I guess that is why this series of two images with the mom in focus and the baby out of focus and visa versa speaks to me so strongly. It is the give and take of putting us in front and taking care of ourselves and putting our family in front and taking care of them.

And wow.. isnt momma just beautiful! Those eyes... :)

This little guy is so lucky to have such wonderful parents! I wish you all the best as your family continues on this amazing journey!

I am sorry for not posting much lately. I have been really busy shooting, which has been great, but it has left me little time to post. Annie's Sweet Pea Photography has a lot going on this summer. I am adding some new products to our repertoire. I will post pictures as soon as they arrive. Secondly, we will be entering the Multnomah Days Parade in Portland in August. I will be sending out an invite to past clients to see if you would like to join us in this event! It is going to be so much fun!

I hope this finds you all having a wonderful and busy summer! I love watching summer through the eyes of my kiddos and remembering how much I loved it as a kid.

Mr Little L just LOVED to snuggle and be swaddled. Can you blame him? I just wonder what babies would say about the transition from mommy's cozy, warm belly to this crazy world full of weird and new sounds, smells, and temperatures. No wonder they like to be close! Summer Photography Tip - Talk to your subject

When you are trying to get a cute picture of your child.... PLEASE dont tell them to stop and say CHEESE!! Take the opportunity to talk to them. Ask about anything... about what they love about summer, what they love about school, their favorites cartoons, anything... just please, please, please dont ask them to say cheese. We know that everyone can say cheese, but try and capture who they really are... your beautiful and precious kiddos. SO go... give it a try. It does take practice, but you can do it! Enjoy and have so much fun in this gorgeous sunshine!

During one of my many trips to the post office recently, I met these two little girls and their mommmy and just fell in love. They are just simply adorable! They are 2 months apart and could not have more different personalities. They both have very sweet sides that shine in such different ways. Ok, really, does it get any cuter. So a few days prior to this session, we thought for sure the skies were not going to cooperate. We almost made a backup plan just in case. But the evening came and it could not have been more beautiful! It was such a fun and playful evening. I felt like I was just a tagalong on a family picnic (except nobody really ate.. hehe). I spent some time at Family P's house prior to our session and noticed all the antique cameras displayed around their house and started talking about them and thought it would be perfect to bring them to their session. I just love pulling in personal items that make families so unique. Anyways, what a great family, what a great night and woah!! this has been a hard edit! Just too cute!

I just finished hanging a new display at Whipper Snippers in Wilsonville, OR. It is a great little place to have your child's haircut. The staff is very personable with the children. It is so colorful and fun! There are a wide variety of action-filled chairs to sit in and a big play structure to play on while waiting! This little momma had the most round and perfect belly! Isnt she just adorable... oh sooo sweet! And so was daddy! This little peanut is one lucky being. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture such a special time in your growing family's life journey.

There are a lot components to this image that strike me when I see it. I just LOVE dad's powerful hand. It feels like he is already protecting his wife and his little baby even before birth. I love how the trail curves and is blurred in the background. It is as if the image is saying this is the beginning and we have a wonderfully long and curvy road ahead of us full of many journey's. Finally I just love how curvy mommas belly is... so sweet and circular! Beautiful!!

This little girl is just such a bundle of amazing energy. For as little as she is, she is one strong cookie. It sure does help that she is the baby of a former ballerina. I had the great honor a couple days ago to spend the morning doing what I absolutely LOVE, hanging out with little girls and playing dollies! It truly amazes me how hardwired some little girls are when it comes to their dollies. They are just such natural mommies. They go through the whole scenario of feeding, playing, dressing and rocking their babies. I just loved being a part of it all. Little Miss P is such an energetic sweet little girl! Rock Steady Boxing - Parkinson's Patients

These are my amazing adorable parents who have taught me so much in life!

So Parkinson's is near and dear to my heart as we found out that my dad is dealing with this nasty disease about 5 years ago. He is such an amazing man and just amazes me at how he approaches life. He does it with so much faith, love and power to succeed. He does not give up. Well he has approached Parkinson's with the same intensity. He has tried diet, excercise, medicine, and has researched the implants as well... and the thing that he has found that works the best is excercise. As we all know, getting into a consistent excercise routine can be really challenging, but he is doing it and I am so proud of him! Recently my uncle came across a program called Rock Steady Boxing in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is a boxing program geared specifically towards people with Parkinsons run by a professional woman boxer. It is amazing! I have not seen it in person, but have seen it on you tube and have heard from my dad what an incredible experience it was for him. To give you a brief rundown on Parkinson's, people who have Parkinson's have a decreased production of dopamine in the body. Dopamine can be created through excercise but in order to help reduce the tremors large amounts of dompamine have to be created, which people with Parkinson's have difficulty doing. The idea of Rock Steady Boxing is with boxing (an intense and shocking form of excercise) one can trick the body by participating in intense excercise to create large amounts of dopamine. When you do rigorous excercise it shocks the system and the dopamine production soars in the body. The first person my dad met when he went to the boxing gym said to my dad, " I used to have a tremor and I don't anymore!!" What.... this just doesn't happen with medicine or anything else. I am sooo amazed at this movement and have such a desire to make it available to all people with Parkinson's!! We will see where it goes... but it is so exciting to see someone you love so much who deals with such a nasty disease come across something so amazing!

I have so enjoyed getting to know so many beautiful pregnant women through my maternity special. It has been awesome meeting the couples at the maternity session prior to the delivery of their sweet babies. When I arrive for the newborn session, I feel like we have been friends for a while already as I have already spent a good amount of time with them getting to know them. I am just loving it!

Well this particular couple came with their game face on! They were so much fun! You can just tell they have so much fun living each day together. I so enjoyed their energy and playful spirits. What a beautiful couple! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to get to know you and get an insight into what this beautiful little miracle is going to be like. It has been way too long since I have posted images. I think I said I was going to try to get to these sneak peak's up late last week and it just didn't happen. Work has been very busy, which is WONDERFUL, it is just a matter of keeping up. It was such a treat going through all the images from the first batch of the Mommy and Me Sessions. As a mom of two energetic and wonderful little children, I know first hand the wonderful ups and challenges that mommies face day in and day out! From the random afternoon snuggles, impromptu dance parties, train tracks weaving under your dining room table, tea parties at any hour of the day, little warm snuggly bodies after nap time, and the list can go on and on! So wow.... this week has been full. I am sorry I have not posted anything this week. Sometimes I just feel like it is virtually impossible to tackle everything on that to do list!

I have had a lot of networking meetings this week and have met some very bright and business savvy individuals who were very helpful! Yeah! I love feeling a part of something much greater than just me!

I have also been cleansing for the past two weeks and it has been WAY harder than I thought. It is a hypo allergenic cleanse to help decrease the intensity of my allergies. It is working, which is great! I can only eat certain veggies, berries for fruits and chicken, lamb and salmon for protein... for breakfast, lunch and dinner! One more week to go!! Yeah!! I tried to work out this morning and woah baby... i got light headed! One more week... one more week... one more week! You can do it!

I had such a fun time during my Mommy and Me Minis. It was such an honor to watch all these amazing mammas interact with their children! I can't wait to show some sneak peaks from the sessions.

Well.. pretty soon you will notice that my blog will look very different. I am in the process of a big transformation of my blog! Can't wait! So exciting. I have been working on it on my own for a while and finally got smart and am paying someone else to help me finish! Why do we do this to ourselves!! It would have been a way better use of my time to pay someone in the first place! Oh well! Live and learn... kind of!!

So my mom ordered two 30x20 canvases of all the grandkids that I took last year and just received them yesterday and was just soo excited!!! I was telling her that is exactly how I feel when the ups man brings me a big box. I just get sooo excited cuz I know it is a canvas and I know my clients are just going to LOVE it! I just am absolutely in LOVE with my canvases. Aside from my children, husband and dog, those would be the things I would run after if we ever God forbid had a fire! They are just beautiful pieces of art!

Energetic Beauty and a Baby on the Way! Maternity Photography, Portland Oregon

OH my goodnesss... this little girl was just a doll. Right when I walked in the door, she jumped into my arms and gave me the longest hug ever! Seriously... she didn't let go for a good minute!! Mind you.. I have never met her before. Wait, I take that back, I did once. I photographed her when she was still in utero! So maybe she remembered my voice! ha... Anyways, I was so taken back with how much she trusted me off the bat. It was just WONDERFUL! It made my day. Anyways, we had so much fun running around that morning and even were able to capture a few in mid runs with beautiful mama (who is due shortly) and sweet daddy. I just adore this family and feel so honored to photograph their second maternity session. I can't wait to meet little Mr. L, the soon to be newest addition. Today is such a special day for me as are most days, but I really LOVE today. When I was a teacher, Environmental Education was my thing. I wrote curriculum for ages prek-adults that revolved around Environmental Ed. It is another major passion in my life. That teacher side of me tries to integrate it into our families daily acitivites from turning off the water to brush our teeth to trying to find new ways of reusing items that would have ended up in the landfill. Now believe me, I know their are times when we all find it difficult to keep up with the day to day and then we have to do all of the EARTH FRIENDLY practices on top of it all... make your own compost, buy organic, walk or bike instead of driving, eat at home instead of out, and so on. While these are ALL wonderful things to do, what I want to encourage you to do is pick ONE thing today that you want to commit to changing in your life. Maybe you recycle the cardboard toilet paper tubes or you try and turn off the water while brushing your teeth. Maybe you help your kids plant a little garden to teach them about where their food comes from. Whatever it may be, choose one thing to do and commit it. Make it a somewhat attainable goal for yourself! Every bit helps!!

Babies, Babies, Babies

Well it is definitely spring and I LOVE it! For some reason spring is baby season! I think it is just a wonderful time of year to have babies. I had both mine in the spring and LOVED it. Not that any other time of the year is bad... I honestly don't know any different. I just love spring and I am so in love with maternity sessions lately...which is a great thing because I have been doing lots of them.

Sometimes you get those really timid couples who are quiet and other times you get the really playful couples and then you get those really FUNNY couples. Well there is room for all of them in my book. I haven't had quite such a funny one in a while! I could take Mr. W along for a side kick just for laughs! Go Mr. Gilligan. You can just tell this couple has a great time together full of lots of laughter and many playful moments. I so enjoyed meeting both of you and can't wait to meet Miss P! Enjoy your sneak peak!

I have never gone through a couple blanket changes before without my little newborns waking up... well not baby C! He was sound asleep! Apparently he had been a party animal the night before, so maybe that was in my favor. Anyways, I so enjoyed my time with little C. He is just the most precious little baby. I so enjoyed getting to know his wonderful parents as well. Thank you for giving me the joy of photographing him at such a precious time in his life! Enjoy your sneak peaks!

Ok this session seriously was so much fun. This family purchased my session at their school's auction this winter. I spoke with the mom briefly over the phone and said, "just bring whatever makes your children them!" and she did. I just LOVED it! I just feel so privileged to watch my little newborns grow. It is such a miraculous year to me that goes by all too fast! At what other point in our lives to we go from being basically a minuscule cell to a beautiful walking being. Wow!! That blows me away.

So baby S and I played all morning. We set out to celebrate her birthday and have a some fun. She enjoyed the balloons, but like a really good girl, loved the sticks and dirt best! Can you blame her!??! Her eyes are to die for! I always have a sweet spot for beautiful baby eyes.. ahhh... and those lashes!! Anyways, this little girl is a cruiser. Her mommy said she has been walking since 10 mths! Woah.. watch out mom and dad! I definitely got my workout, but I couldn't have had more fun!

Hello everyone. I am back. I am sorry I have not posted in a really long time. I dont have one of those cool I Phones that helps you stay in touch while you are gone nor am I connected to the internet on my phone, so when I am gone, I am truly gone. I had a WONDERFUL time at the conference. I learned so much and met so many amazing people.I roomed with some awsome ladies from Portland. It felt great to connect with women who do what I do locally. Anyways, all around a great trip and you will see some new things happening here in the next few months. My little baby girl is turning 3! Portland, OR Family Photographer

My little baby girl is turning 3! How can that be??!! My mom always said, make sure to enjoy the little things because time flies by too quickly with children, and she was right. It is going way too fast. Well she is definitely growing up. She is full of personality, totally loves her princesses and ballerinas, and can play soccer with the boys like the best of them! She has fire, but is such a sweetheart (when she wants to be... hehe). We are so blessed to haver her in our lives!

I was supposed to go to a preschool conference this morning and opted out choosing to hang out with my family before I leave for a week-long conference. I am sooo happy I did that! We were going to the zoo, but once we arrived realized everyone in the world had the same idea! Man... we were bummed. We drove around for 15 min trying to find a parking spot! Oh well.. we went with 2nd best, the castle park, as Etta calls it! We played hide and go seek, went down the slide and hunted deer tracks! Etta says she didnt see a deer, but she really saw bear tracks!! She was so convinced! She and I snuck away for a little hike of our own and it was such a peaceful and memorable one. We were warmed by the amazing spring sunshine and so enjoyed all the new floral scents that filled the air. She, once again, proved that her legs are just a tad bit quicker than mine, saying, "you can't get me... the whole way!" It was great. Now everyone is home and the boys are out working on the yard and I am making some bday cupcakes. What a great day!!

It feels so good to just stop and drop all those must do's and enjoy being a kid again!!

I just wanted to give you a heads up that I will be in and out for the next week and a half. I will be attending a preschool parenting conference on Saturday and then off to the Wedding and Portrait Photography International Conference on Sunday for the week. It is intense from what I hear, so I will most likely not be shooting or blogging that week. I am so excited to go and learn from all the AMAZING resources. I will have so much to share when I return... so WATCH OUT!!

Hello everyone. I am back and had such a wonderful weekend observing my friend and amazing photographer. I will post images shortly of our sessions on Saturday, but I wanted to share a few from a workshop a while ago. I was updating some of my materials today and came across these images that just spoke to me. As digital photographers, we sometimes have a bad habit of keeping beautiful works of art hidden in our digital drawers. I am trying to be better about this as all these images have a right to be seen and adored. I know it is hard, but try to do something with your digital images, but know... you aren't the only one who struggles with the never ending task of finding time to work with them. Being a woman and an artist in today's society is not an easy task. We LOVE what we do with our children and family on a daily basis and would not take that away for the world, but trying to fit art and creative expression into that can be a very challenging feat. When you have that burning desire to create and capture it is difficult to stifle or push it aside as it is so much of what makes you who you are. I came across this little video on women and the arts and was very inspired by it. Within in me I struggle balancing my passion for the arts and photography and my passion to be a wonderful mom, wife, friend, etc. It is a balance that is so difficult to strike. This movie clip reminded me so much that I am not alone and neither are you! Don't be afraid to take time for yourself and the passions that you hold near and dear to you. In the long run, the benefits will be so great!

Oh this sweet little amazing eyed one is one Annie's Sweet Pea Photography baby planners. I have now photographed her 3 times. This is my son and these are his new specs. Aren't they sooo stinkin cute. He picked them out because he liked the green on the inside because it reminded him of John Deere Tractors (his love in life!). You know when you hear the doctor say that your child can't see very well your heart just sinks. How long has this been going on for and how will this change him? Will he get made fun of in grade school? Will he fight wearing them or will he be a champ? This is the second pair we have had for him, the first one didn't correct his vision enough. So a specialized worked on this prescription and I think this one is a go. Although, the other day he did say, "Mom I can't see in these glasses." and my response was, " Well hmm... I need you to understand the difference between telling me the truth and a fib. If you REALLY can't see out of them, then mommy will need to make another appointment and they will have to put more drops in your eyes and your eyes will feel all funky and we will have to be at the doctors most of the day to figure this one out again. So, if you are fibbing then it would be a bummer to spend the whole day doing this. If you are telling me the truth, then this would be a good way to spend our day so we can get the prescription correct." His immediate response was, "Mom, I think I can see just fine now." Haha... I got a kick out of that one! He has been such a champ with this process and Nonnie's green MASSIVE garbage truck sure helped the situation along! Thanks Nonnie... I am not for sure who appreciated the truck more, me or Finn:).

So here he is... a wonderful, sweet, maturing (yes... he is maturing.. ahhhhhhhhh finally!!) and loving little boy with his new sweet specs!

Ok so I took my daughter out today for a little photoshoot and we had a ball. I have had this sucker just sitting staring at her on my desk for a LONG time and she has been begging to "Yeat It!" So I gave in today and decided today was the day. She is such a hoot and has been SO fun to watch grow up, especially these last few weeks. She just has such spunk and personality! It was a fun morning playing around with her singing songs about raindrops and telling jokes about pickles crossing the road. Children are just so beautiful and simple. It truly amazes me how much fun and high on life they are when you stop and focus just on them! The only sad part of our shoot was at the end, as she came running down the hill and I repeatedly said... BE CAREFUL!!! and after I took this last shot, splat she went sucker and all. Oh it was not a fun way to end a great morning. But in her true form, she recovered like a true champ!!

A tribute to an AMAZING man - Children's Photographer - Portland, Oregon

Just after Christmas, we lost an amazing friend, father, community member and overall person in this world. We went to his memorial service yesterday and I was so touched by the beautiful stories people had to share about Jeff and how he touched so many people in this world with his laugther, generosity, and beautiful spirit. I had the opportunity of photographing his daughter during a therapy session on her horse this past fall. The connection she shared with her dad touched me greatly. I have posted a few images from that session that will stay with me in my memory for many years to come.

I sometimes have such a difficult time listening to the news and business analysts that project such negativity with the economy and the future of our lives. I know that many people have been and continue to face such hardships right now, especially financially. This is real and I know that firsthand. But...I also know that focusing on all the negative aspects of the world never helped anyone move in a more positive direction. I came across something that Seth Godin wrote and it just hit home to me this morning... He said...

"Fear mongering is a lousy profession, one that ought to be regulated, if not banned. I'm more in favor of hope mongering. 2010 is the year that the world will change. In fact, every year is that year, but this is the only time we'll get to change the world this time."

May 2010 be filled with much love, hope, and most of all a desire to focus on all the beauties that surround you.

Wow... how did this day arrive sooo quickly!!?? I can't believe it and I do have to apologize for not keeping up on my posts this month. It has been crazy...which I couldn't be more thankful for. To start a business during a recession, is a little bit nerve racking at times, but I tell you what... I feel so blessed and it is all because of you! So we had just the most wonderful Thanksgiving with my sister and her family. We even made it to the mountain for some fun in the snow! It was a blast and the kids came home plum tuckered out.

Being home and getting back into the swing of things has sure been a wake-up call for all of us! Now don't get me wrong...I love my kiddos to pieces, but oh today... they are like moving explosions! My son decided that he was going to build his own carpet cleaner without clueing me in on his plan. He sarted pouring water in a box and going over all the carpets. Ingenious... yes I have to say so. Driving me crazy... yes that too! As I am trying to help him clean up that mess, I hear my daughter dump out the 6,000 piece lego bin all over the floor. So in an effort to not freak out, I went over calmly and tried to explain how we could just pick out a few pieces from the bin and not dump them all out. It makes it much easier to pick up in the long run. As I am helping her pick up the legoes, I look up to find stickers from our morning trip to Trader Joe's all over my walls and hardwood floors, so I started pealing those off the floors and walls. In the mean time, my son has now taken the vinegar/water spray and is being so helpful by cleaning all the walls and windows in the house (mind you.. the carpets are still soaking wet!!). And I wonder why I can't seem to get enough healthy calories in my body to sustain myself for an hour, let alone a day.

So ...(deep breath!) here is to all of us who have children... make sure to stop and take a deep breath on occasion and know that you are doing a GREAT job!! I think there was a book that is entitled "Don't sweat the small stuff" (yah... right!!)... well try to not let all those little things get to you this holiday season. A great friend once told me.... a great parent is one with a dirty house! I am beginning to believe this... because how can you have a clean house and happy children???

Anyways... great work parents!!! Keep it up and enjoy yourselves this holiday season. Keep on the lookout for specials that will be posted in the next two weeks which could make some wonderful gifts for your family and friends for the holidays:).

So I love the art of learning and education. I think it stems from my previous profession as an educator. Anyways, my little bro has been really working hard in his photography skills and is doing awesome. I feel like a proud mama except I am not for sure I can take any credit. This image below is of his little son and I just love the composition of it. How many of us have found our children after a major tantrum or a long week of relatives totally passed out on the floor? They are never placed perfectly in the middle of anything either. If they are on their bed, they are usually falling halfway off, etc. Anyways, I think this image reflects this stage of children perfectly! I love it. Thanks for sharing bro.

Now get out there and keep shooting. You don't have to be a professional to come up with super cool shots! Take risks, especially if you are shooting digital. What's the worse that can happen... you have to erase it !!! OH MY! :)

So today I had the opportunity to photograph a very beautiful and sweet young woman. It was such a an enjoyable session and I didn't even have to chase after her! (I love the little ones, but mixing it up is good for all of us!). Miss T has such a natural beauty that just screams in her photographs. So I was shooting today with my kids, just practicing a couple different things and came across these three shots that just melt my heart. They almost bring tears to my eyes. Whether it is my passion for my children and my passion for photography combined, I am not sure, but images of my children that so blatently describe who they are and what they are all about are soooo precious to me. I want to cover my home with them as they just bring so much joy to my heart when I see them.

My little daughter can be such a little stinker.. but I just love that sassy side of her. She has always LOVED to hide and this one was just perfect. It is behind my white balance card!

Who wouldn't love a sandbox!! Well this boy is out in his sandbox that his papa built for him for his 2nd birthday just about everyday rain or shine. I am totally not kidding last week when it was pouring rain, he was out there with his rain gear on playing with his diggers. He loves it!

Miss little pinkalicious and her duck feet web toes! That pretty much sums that one up!:)

I had two senior session in a row on this day and the girls couldn't have been more different but both equally enjoyable! I just love coming across young woman in today's world that are delightful, confident, and enjoy life. It is a true testimony to the families that raised them. This young woman was so much fun. She even brought a cheering group with her, which was a great idea. It immediately relaxed and we ran with it. She had so many great shots to pick from it was hard to narrow them down. Oh my I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the fall. I am a midwesterner at heart so this fall has really felt like home to me. The colors are just truly vibrant and so amazing. I just think nature is so miraculous in its ability to display such vibrancy!! I think that nature is sometimes the root of so much of my work... especially the fall! It is a time of true joy for me. I will leave you with that and off to rake leaves with my kids and probably find ourselves jumping in them too! :)

So as I have told you before, when I was back in Minneapolis in September my little sis got engaged to a wonderful man and I just couldnt be happier for them. I did a little impromptu photo shoot for their engagement and it was just so fun! She is just so beautiful, vibrant and full of life... and I miss her so much! I am sooo sorry I am so behind on my posts. The last few weeks have been so crazy busy that it has been enough to just keep up on work and life. No excuses, but just needed to touch base with you and let you know what was up on my end. We have also been dealing with the "Four Year Old Blues." Oh me oh my... has it been a wild ride. I LOVE my son dearly, but oh boy... he has been quite a handful. Sometimes I feel like I just want to run as far from home as possible and then he pulls a really sweet one out of his hat of tricks and reels me back in. He is a sweetie... but lately... oh my. it has been a rocky road. Any advice on four year olds that you feel like passing my way would be SOOO awesome!

Well better one... he is screaming at my feet as I write... will get caught up on posts... I promise! Thanks again for being not only awesome clients, but awesome friends!

And would you look at those eyes!!! Oh MY! What a little sweetie little Miss M is. It was so fun to see her one year later! It truly is amazing to me how incredibly miraculous our bodies are. To watch the development of an infant to a one year is truly phenomenal. Anyways, I had a great morning playing with little Miss M. She has such a beautiful little personality and sucks her thumb with her blankie in her mouth just like my daughter does. Congrats family W on such a beautiful little one and thank you for the opportunity to spend time with her!

This is my sister in law and I think she is just such a beautiful woman both inside and out. WOW!!! Watch out nanna and papa... This is the 2nd time I have had the opportunity to photograph this warm and loving family. Their daughter, Miss A, is just a doll. She has such spunk and love for life already at a young age. I love it! During the session, she grabbed her little camera and started going around and taking pictures. As I was watching her, I realized she was totally mimicking me and she did it soo well!! It was just hilarious!! Thanks for a great time Miss A! Welcome to the world sweet little baby C. You have lots of fun in your future with your big sis! So I have been editing these sweet little newborns all day and came across some images of my daughter that made me laugh. What happened to that sweet sweet newborn stage!! Haha.... Her grandfather was an influential person in starting her violin career and so it felt so appropriate to include the handmade violin from her grandfather in these images. S'more Minneapolis Fun!

I had so much fun shooting in the cities! The city is such a beautiful place, but nothing can top the people there. When I was back, my little sis got engaged the night before her 30th bday. I got to meet her new inlaws and they are awesome and soo much fun! I can see many years of great memory making in the future with this family! Thanks for such a great time! I went back to Minnesota a few weeks ago visiting my little sister who turned 30! It was so much fun! I went to school there, so it was a great time to meet up with old friends and be in such a great city! I was able to squeeze in a few photo shoots while I was there and here is a little sneak peak from the first shoot...
